Let's Play Guitar In A Five Guitar Band

Sooooo what a week!
I just saw The Bronx five times in eight days. Overkill? Never!!! I'm actually quite sad it's ended. Everytime I hear Mariachi El Bronx I imagine I'm in Mexico drinking sangria in a dodgy bar and dancing.

Started off in Toronto. Dead Country are tight. Sound awesome. VERY catchy. I had their songs stuck in my head everyday in the last week.
Mariachi well Mariachi. I had no idea what to expect. If you've listened to the album, (even though the album is great) they are 10 times better live. The sound is better each instrument sounds more alive and awesome. And I like to perve on the outfits. Definitely something everyone should see before they die. And I'm gonna somehow make them play at my wedding. Somehow.

I got to hang with my fiance for one night only (terrible I know) . Violent Soho played really well. Awesome suprise- the Cancer Bats got added to the bill when VS couldn't get across the border. Got to listen to their new album so damn good.

And The Bronx rocked as per usual. It seems like they've given up on the ol 'And they will kill us all' and stuck with 'Heart attack american' which is fine, but They will kill us all is an awesome party song to end the night with.

Opted out of partying to go back to Nico's house to have a good night's sleep with my man. Wise choice. It was way to hard to say goodbye the next morning, even if it was just for two nights. I wandered around aimlessly inside the Eaton Centre mall. Not looking to spend money but I love that mall. Went and did some training with an accountant and then headed back to Nico's where she bought me THE BEST Thai food I've had. It was a pineapple and mango tofu curry with sweet peanut sauce. Delish.

Bus back to New York. Was unlucky and got a mean lady at the border. We won't go there.

Got back to NY. Saw The Bronx again in Hoboken, NJ, Brooklyn, Philadelphia and then the Manhattan show. Brooklyn definitely ruled the most.

Got to go to the Philadelphia Museum of Art (yes the one that has the steps from 'Rocky') and
got in for free thanks to a resourceful tour manager.
So much good art. Accidentally came across the 'gates of hell' really. Never thought I'd randomly see that piece of art in my life. It was outside in this amazing courtyard at the Rodin Museum.

Had a tasty portabella mushroom, caramelised fennell & feta burger. at some restaurant, can't remember the name.

So now the man has left New York for a month. My nights are free, filled with facebook and dvds with that nice breeze coming through my window which I can finally open in this 30 degree weather.

In other news, I have a 42 ounce bag of peanut M&Ms and you don't.

The photo above was purely for my own and the Kaøs ladies' viewing pleasure. It hasn't been done in a while, but I think I got the most appropriate celebrity in on our Kaøs action!
